Is there anything to pay after I buy it?
No. No subscription, no account, no cloud plan. The only thing you may want to add is a micro SD card, which is not included.
Where do the recordings go?
Onto a micro SD card from 32 to 128 GB, which sits in the monitor. You play them back on the same screen, and they never leave the house.
Can I answer without opening the door?
Yes. The intercom works both ways: you hear whoever is at the door and they hear you, from wherever the monitor is.
Will it survive the weather?
The bell is rated IP66, so rain and dust are what it is built for. The monitor stays inside.
