For guidance only, compared with a flat foam chair pad in the same price range.
We went looking for something for the eight hours a day nobody counts: the ones spent sitting down. Most chair pads are a flat square of foam that gives up in a week and slides off the seat. This one is molded in a single block — the seat holds your thighs, the back panel comes up behind you, and the opening under the tailbone means the one spot that always aches touches nothing at all. A Déniche find, the kind we like.

The opening is the whole point.
Sit on a flat cushion and most of your weight travels down through two small bones at the base of your spine. Hours of that is what you feel at the end of the day.
The keyhole is cut right through the foam under exactly that spot. Your tailbone ends up over empty space, and the load goes to your thighs instead.

It doesn't stop where your back begins.
Most chair pads end at the seat. The CoreSit™ keeps going: the back panel is molded into the same block of foam and rises to fill the hollow your lower back leaves against a flat chair.
Nothing to strap on, nothing to adjust — you end up sitting upright without having to think about it.

The desk chair, then the car, then the kitchen table.
Two straps go around the backrest and the underside is textured, so it doesn't travel on leather and it doesn't leave with you when you stand up.
It weighs next to nothing. You pick it up with one hand and it follows you from one seat to the next.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my chair?
It is sized for a standard seat: office chair, car seat, dining chair, wheelchair. The two straps adjust, so it holds on a backrest wider or narrower than average.
Does the foam go flat?
It is high-density memory foam, not the soft filling you find in flat chair pads. It compresses under your weight and comes back to its shape when you stand up.
Can I wash it?
The cover unzips completely and goes in the machine on a cool cycle. The foam itself never goes in water — wipe it with a damp cloth.
Will it slide on a leather car seat?
The underside is textured to grip and the two straps go around the backrest. On leather, use both.
